Crafty Canines- November Issue-[link]

I really hoped that it would not come to this.

You know how we need to get our cat, Oliver fixed? And thatwould cost a ton of money?

Well, one of our horses, Bella (the Cydesdale...) might be sick. She hasn't been eating properly, and we need to get the vet out for her. My mom is going to try to come up with the money to have the vet out by next week, but just in case, I'm lowering my already super-low commission prices to raise money.

If my mom can pay for Bella, I can try to pay for Oliver. Dx

But not only that, I found out that Oliver's operation will likely cost upwords of $200

I don't want to seem like a charity or that I'm begging you to commission me, but it really fels that way. Dx

Here are the new prices...

Thanks for reading. Hugs are appreciated. I may still do art for a subby, but I'd rather do it for the animals.

I may buy from you! :) I already thought about it when you asked me about the canine news thing. Give me a bit to decide please :)

You learn to like someone when you find out what makes them laugh, but you can never truly love someone until you find out what makes them cry......
:iconwolveswithin:
Oh no, Bella? I remember seeing pictures of her when you first got her, she's such a pretty mare. D`:
That's insane... $200 to neuter a cat? I could understand a female, but the males are usually a lot cheaper, since the operation is always easier. I know what you mean by the money thing, we recently got our dog fixed, and it would have cost around that much. But we heard about a program that a college that was taking dogs and cats and fixing them, allowing their vet tech students to stand by and get a feel for operation. The good thing was, it was completely free. I was extremely skeptical about it, and I worried myself to death, which I never do. But she came back about a week ago and was fine.
Is there any way something like that would be available where you live?

Your welcomeee, maybe after I pay off his bill I can commision you P:

And thank you! n__n he's actually doing really good. We got it detected early so they were able to do something about it~ Now we just gotta fatten him up lol
and yes my louiekinsss :c
:iconpleonexia:
Yeah, Balla. With a normal horse, you only need the fet to see them twice a year, but for some reason, Bella is always getting sick and we have the vet out every 2-3 months, at least. Dx

It may be a little cheaper, than $200, but he also needs his shots and things. We picked him up as a stray, and can't take any chances...

The free operation things? I live in the middle of nowhere. The closest vet tous sucks, so we haveto drive down the hill just to have our animals have anything major done. Dx So I live to far away to get it done free...

Mmk, I didn't know you hadn't gotten him any shots or anything else. I see why the price has been assumed as that much now.
Ah, but I live in the middle of nowhere as well. We happened upon it by chance, I'm not sure if they have it everywhere. We have to go a long ways too to get to any sort of vet...
I hope things go well for you guys, Bella and Oliver too.

I was auctually thinking of commissioning you a few weeks ago, but then I was like "shoot, Oliver needs to get fixed, and his shots."

That's good, though. If one of our animals got cancer right now, we probably wouldn't have the money to deal with it. Espicially one of the horses. Just to have the vet check up on your horse costs a few hundred dollars. Dx

Maybe if you mix some leftover bacon grease into his food. Our neighbors used to do that for their pit. It's super fatty, and it makes their coat shiney!

They might make supplements, too. When we buy horses, half the time, they are a few hundred pounds underweight and feeding them supplements and mixing soy into their feed usually helps a bunch. It might do the same, for dogs, too. I can teach you howwwww c:

Yeah, we haven't even had him for a month, yet. Probably two and a half, maybe three, weeks. The reason we didn't do it right away is because we were trying to give him away or find his proper owners. We couldn't just put him in the pound. There is already an excess of animals there and we don't want tomake it worse. Dx

I hate where I live. xD It's desert, so there is no grass or trees, the bugs are FREAKY, and everybody is a hick. I can't wait 'till I move. lol

And thanks. Bella and Oliver probably appreciate that. xD
